Palu - 03 - Herzversagen
Bei einem Kunstraub in Metz wird eine alte Frau erschlagen. Eine Spur weist nach Saarbrücken, und so stößt Max Palu nach dem Amtshilfeersuchen seiner französischen Kollegen auf den Kunst- und Antiquitätenhändler Alfred Stein, der sein Geld u. a. als Hehler gestohlener Gemälde verdient.
Alfred Stein kommt auf mysteriöse Weise zu Tode.
An und für sich ein ganz normaler Fall, wäre da nicht Gaby Stein, die Nichte des Toten. Gaby, die mit ihrem Vater Wolfgang Stein, dem Bruder Alfreds, alleine lebt, ist emotional sehr stark auf Renate, die Ehefrau des Toten, fixiert. Renate wiederum hat ein Verhältnis mit Gabys Vater Wolfgang, der seinerseits von seinem Bruder finanziell weitgehend abhängig und damit auch erpreßbar war.
In dieses Konglomerat unterschiedlichster Interessen wird die 14jährige Gaby hineingezogen. Sie gerät unter Mordverdacht.
