Wilhelm Feindt, ein frisch verheirateter Undercover-Agent des LKA, der gemeinsam mit seinem Partner und Freund Ben Broder den flüchtigen Gangsterboss Santos verhaften will, wird bei einem Mordanschlag lebensgefährlich verletzt. Um den Fall zu klären, ohne die geplante Verhaftung von Santos zu gefährden und dabei endlich an eine ominöse Liste von bestochenen Politikern und Polizisten zu gelangen, arbeitet Kommissarin Lena Odenthal eng mit dem legendenumwobenen Ben Broder zusammen.
