Max Palu und seine Freundin Margit bekommen Besuch vom zehnjährigen Patrick, Margits Neffen. Und dieser bringt das Leben des kauzigen Kommissars ganz schön durcheinander: Während sich Palu mit einem komplizierten Mordfall an einem Geschäftsmann auseinandersetzen muss, ist Patrick plötzlich verschwunden: Entführung. Nun hat der Saarbrücker Kommissar richtig zu tun. Eine junge Frau, die ihren unter Mordverdacht stehenden Freund freipressen möchte, ist durchgedreht und hat den Kleinen entführt.
