Cenk Batu arbeitet seit Monaten in einer riskanten verdeckten Mission bei dem scheinbar seriösen Unternehmer Petermann. Doch als er endlich in den engeren Zirkel vorzudringen scheint, scheitert er an einer brutalen Feuerprobe.
Ausgerechnet jetzt kommt sein VE-Führer Uwe mit einem neuen Auftrag: In der Rolle eines türkischen Kleinkriminellen soll Cenk ins Krankenhaus, um dort über den durch eine Messerattacke verletzten Deniz Kontakt zum nach außen hermetisch abgeriegelten Nezrem-Clan herzustellen. Deniz ist der Neffe von Tuncay Nezrem, offiziell Restaurantbesitzer und Gemüsegroßhändler, inoffiziell ein aufstrebender Clanfürst. Und tatsächlich erlangt Cenk Batu quasi über Nacht das Vertrauen von Tuncay Nezrem. Schnell wird ihm klar, dass hinter der Fassade des harmlosen Geschäftsmannes Hochstapeleien stehen, bei denen Nezrem offenbar vor nichts zurückschreckt. Nicht einmal vor dem Verrat seiner eigenen Landsleute, dem auch sein Neffe Deniz zum Opfer fällt. Und plötzlich ist Petermann wieder im Spiel...
