Aus heiterem Himmel erhält Hauptkommissarin Eva Saalfeld einen Anruf, der ihr Leben durcheinander bringt. Ihre Halbschwester Julia, die seit zweieinhalb Jahren in Leipzig lebt und die sie noch nie gesehen hat, will sich mit ihr treffen.
