Der Leichnam einer jungen Frau lag offensichtlich bereits seit Wochen in ihrer Wohnung, als er gefunden wird und die Stuttgarter Kommissare Thorsten Lannert und Sebastian Bootz die Ermittlungen aufnehmen. Wieso hat niemand Nelly Schlüter vermisst? Weder ihre Eltern noch ihr Bruder und schon gar nicht ihre beste Freundin Fine Slowinski? Im Gegenteil, Fine scheint eher erleichtert, dass Nelly nicht mehr in ihrem Leben mit Ehemann Niclas und dem neuen Baby vorkam.
