Nu hij het bericht heeft gekregen dat hij ontslagen is, hervalt Frank in zijn oude gewoonte. Simonne probeert hem te helpen, maar hij weigert dat. Simonne kan het niet aanzien hoe Frank zichzelf verwaarloost en roept Anns hulp in. Die kan echter niet helpen. Jenny hoort eveneens dat Frank zonder werk zit en vindt thuis een teneergeslagen Frank. Frank beseft dat hij alleen de schuld is van wat hij nu meemaakt. Maar hij zal het er niet bij laten. Hij zal de arbeidsrechtbank inschakelen om zijn werk terug te krijgen. Marianne probeert bij Jenny wat meer te weten te komen over het reilen en zeilen van haar eigen echtgenoot.
