Kristoff voelt zich zeer belangrijk wanneer hij botst op het lichaam van Neil in de stallen. De politie wordt ingelicht. Werner en Harry proberen te schade te beperken voor het imago van Hof Ter Smissen, en houden de klanten op een afstand. Harry heeft een vermoeden dat Veronique iets met de moord te maken kan hebben en vertelt over haar opgravingen op de plek waar het lijk is gevonden enkele maanden geleden. Werner verdedigt zijn zus tegen de verdachtmakingen. Jenny, Frank en Bianca zijn in alle staten. Ze houden Bianca op haar kamer omdat ze alle spanningen niet langer aankan.
