This tiny Katsu Curry is too drippy! We'll take 100 pls.
Ingredients:
1 tbsp oil
5 garlic cloves
2 onions, chopped
2 carrots, slices
1 tsp ginger
1 cup water
2 tbsp curry powder or paste
1 tsp cornstarch
2 cups broth
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 eggs, whisked
1 cup panko
1 tsp sal
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lb pork meat
Oil to fry
1 cup cooked rice
Steps:
1. In a sheet pan with hot oil, add garlic, ginger and onion, cook for 5 minutes.
2. Add the curry paste, sugar, broth, water, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch, stir well.
3. When it start to boil, lower the heat and add the carrots and cook for 8 minutes.
4. Season the pork, coat with flour, whisked eggs and then coat with panko.
5. In a sheet pan with hot oil, fry the pork for 3 minutes or until golden. Then drain and cut into slices.
6. Serve the rice with the pork slices on the side and the curry sauce on top.
