This is a quick review of the recently released iPhone 4S benchmarks in comparison to the older iPhone 4, hence the title iPhone 4S vs iPhone 4. The benchmarks also illustrate potential performance differences between the iPhone 4S and a number of competing Android phones including the Galaxy S 2 & the Samsung / Google Nexus. There is also an iPad 2 comparison for good measure.

The new iPhone 4S features the Apple A5 processor which is greatly improved from the Apple A4 in the previous generation iPhone 4. This processor improvement is the reason for the difference in benchmark performance figures and ultimately computing speed and power.
