Ashton Holly

Ashton Christopher Holly (born February 3, 2003) is an American actor, film director, producer, editor, graphic designer and screenwriter. Born in New Orleans, Holly developed an interest in filmmaking from a young age. Growing up in Dallas, he began making short films and videos at age eight, directing friends and using a tripod and iPhone to record stop motion videos with his LEGO® sets. Holly briefly attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, majoring in Psychology before switching to Communication, before exiting after a semester due to "not feeling fit here". Holly began his career as a screenwriter by writing scripts at home during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020. He then transitioned into creating an array of projects, notably faux trailers and memes of his friends on Twitter, before making the Spaces Trilogy (2022), in which he and friends would improv on Twitter's live conversation feature. He says he'd love to make psychological dramas, mystery thrillers, and slice of life dramas exploring themes of existentialism and depression, the latter he's been vocal on and struggled immensely with in high school.
