Die Chefin Season 8

The 8 season of Die Chefin was broadcast on ZDF from vendredi 8 septembre 2017 to vendredi 13 octobre 2017. It consists of 6 episodes, the first one is called "Prager Kristalle" and the last one "Endspiel".

Vera Lanz (Katharina Böhm) is a detective with the Munich homicide unit. Four years ago her husband, also a police officer, was killed. Andreas Lanz allegedly stole money while undercover and shot a colleague while on the run before being killed during his arrest.

Vera has apparently concluded with this dark chapter - and enjoys life to the fullest. She has an affair with the married prosecutor Berger (Stephan Kampwirth), which does not stop her from flirting a bit with her new colleague Jan Trompeter (Stefan Rudolf). What no one, neither her team nor her daughter (Olga von Luckwald) or her stepfather (Hermann Beyer) suspects: Vera secretly continues the search for the true background of Andreas' death ...
