Augustine is a two-part mini-series, made in Italy, about the influential theologian and church father Augustine of Hiccup. The piece tells the story of his life from a teenager to his death at the age of 69. Much of the content of the scenes of him as a young and middle-aged man comes from his Confessions, which is probably the oldest existing autobiography.
