Elli Kempfer (Klara Deutschmann) returns to her hometown of Steinau in the Karwendel Mountains to work as a paramedic and save the lives of accident victims. Her mother, Luise (Clelia Sarto), raised her on her own. Leo (Rainer Bock), Luise’s best friend, is like a surrogate father to Elli. She lives on her mother’s farm and has ADHD. Because of this, Elli has a unique way of perceiving and experiencing the world. However, this also gives her a special strength time and again. Elli is open about it and has found her own way to structure her daily life and overcome challenges at work.
