Marga is a pretentious artist. Roberto, her husband, is having an affair with Tina, their housekeeper, and has gotten her pregnant. Vera, Marga’s sidekick, is a popular chef who is forced to close her restaurant because of an illness suffered by a scathing critic. Nat works as a saleswoman in a luxury fashion store. Marga and Vera are among her customers. Adela, Tina’s mother, is unemployed and, along with her elderly mother, faces eviction by her ruthless landlord. Victoria, Adela and Nat’s neighbor, is a forgotten actress from the 1970s erotic film industry.
