Predestined Love

After getting fired from her job, Ren Xi Zhou returns to her hometown where she intends to help out at her mother's failing dumpling restaurant. However, she's soon confronted with someone she never hoped to see again: her ex-boyfriend Xiang Nan Feng. Despite initial tensions, they begin to collaborate on improving Xi Zhou's mother's potsticker recipe. The proximity encourages them to unpack some of their unresolved emotional baggage – but at the same time, they start to wonder if their feelings for each other were truly left in the past. Is this the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together, or is this the conclusion they needed to move on?
