"A single objective: to stay alive". Participants are challenged to subsist unassisted on an abandoned islet for an extended period of time. There is no team, no competition, no challenge, and no reward at the end. At the start, participants are provided with three knives, three machetes and three ten-liter tanks of drinking water, as well as a first-aid kit. Prior to their initiation, they receive survival training and advice from an adventure expert. For everything else, they are responsible for finding food and water.
They are also equipped with cameras and microphones to document their journey themselves.
