A Decade of Dirt (10)
From Wave Hill the boys set out into the Tanami desert to find the resting place of the Kookaburra plane and a plaque laid by Dick Smith at Anderson’s corner, which is lost in time. The terrain is gruelling, the weather is hot and the vehicles take a beating.
All they have to work from are a few rough co-ordinates and a single image of Dick Smith and the plaque.
