Steve tries to find out who Andy is going out with. Jack asks Don to get him a job pallbearing. Deirdre sets Percy and Phyllis up to vist Ken to stop him getting too cosy. Undertaker Mr Thorpe puts Jack on his list of part-time pallbearers, telling him that his natural lugubrious is wonderful. Rita is surprised to hear that Representative Ted Sullivan is retiring. Deirdre tells Ken that she's only putting up with him under sufferance. He is stunned.
