Harchester United's new manager Jimmy Craig experiences a baptism of fire on his first day on the job. Within minutes of arriving at the club, he finds the team in disarray, Liam in a rage and he learns that Alex has confessed to Casper's murder. To compound matters, he is told by the club's new chairman that the Dragons need a new, high-profile manager and Jimmy doesn't fit the bill.

Meanwhile, Jason worries that with Alex out of the picture, his trial at Harchester may be over. Meetings with new manager Jimmy only add to his worries and he feels he can do no right. Having had his dreams shattered, Jason starts to self-destruct, but can Katy save him? Is this the end of the road for the young tyre-fitter?
