S1 E6: This Week in Spaceflight History - STS-60 landed!

Have you ever wondered how the Space Shuttle landed? Well on this week in spaceflight history the Space Shuttle Discovery landed at Kennedy Space Center ending mission STS-60. This took place on February 11th, 1994 after an 8 day research mission. One of my favorite facts about this mission is it was former NASA administrator Charles Bolden’s last flight in space.

Tune in LIVE ever Wednesday at 9:00 Central (3:00 UTC) to join the action at http://twitch.tv/everydayastronaut

Make sure and check out the Orbital Mechanics Podcast each week to get the run down on the mission!
