Couple Gets Home Downpayment as Wedding Gift

Newlyweds Katie and Jonathan relocated from small town Michigan to the Washington, D.C. area, and they're thrilled that Katie's dad has celebrated their marriage by giving them a downpayment on their first home. Now the trick will be finding the perfect place! They want a single family home in the suburbs that's close to Katie's job at Ford's Theater in D.C., and to Jonathan's teaching job outside the city. But even though they have a budget of $350,000, finding an updated place with a big yard and easy commute for both will be a big challenge.
