Virtual pets got their start in the late 90's when the immensely popular Tamagotchi, from Japan, found its way into millions of kid's homes. This phenomenon would continue with new creations such as Furby's, Zoomer, Pepper, and even video game characters. But why do humans develop such strong relationships with machines?? Join Jamin on this weeks episode of Game/Show as he questions the blurred lines between simulated, and real emotion. Just why are humans so attached to synthetic programming?
