The new "Federations" DLC for Stellaris brings huge changes to the diplomacy system! Several new types of federations have been added to the game, along with new laws and perks for their members. Build up your federation cohesion to receive powerful rewards! The civilizations of the galaxy have also joined together to form the Galactic Community where they can pass new resolutions and regulations... or sanction particularly bad actors. Lastly, empires can now select an origin during species creation which can drastically change your early game!
