Casey Neistat is a New York City vlogger that influenced the ecosystem of YouTube immensely. Neistat brought his filmmaking background to the “Vlogging” genre. He implemented elements such as time lapses, montages, DSLR cameras, and more. These new techniques were so unique many were inspired by his style. As a result, a number of youtubers applied Neistat’s techniques to their own niches in order to fit their narrative. There are quite a few individuals though, who blatantly copied everything Neistat did. This video will discuss the difference between copying and inspiration.
