Skyrim is a land of numerous bustling cities and settlements and among the coldest and most ancient, is Dawnstar. The capital of the Pale, Dawnstar sits on Skyrim's icy northern coast and is among the chilliest places in all of Tamriel. Occupying a central position in many of Skyrim's quests, questlines and narratives, most players are quite familiar with this frosty hamlet but there's almost certainly quite a lot about this place you may never have imagined.
