A causa di un errore, un virus letale si è diffuso all'interno di un sofisticato centro di sperimentazione biologico sotterraneo chiamato L'alveare. 'La Regina Rossa', l'intelligenza artificiale che governa i sistemi di sicurezza del centro, ha bloccato tutte le uscite del bunker causando la morte di centinaia di dipendenti. E' ora compito di un'avanzata squadra speciale tentare di isolare il computer principale e cercare di capire quello che è realmente successo. Ma la Regina Rossa non sarà l'unico ostacolo che si troveranno a dover superare.
