Sue Perkins, Malaysian prawn laksa curry and an albariño

A seasoned comedian, writer, broadcaster, and even a conductor, Sue was born in South London and later graduated from Cambridge, where she joined the prestigious Footlights comedy group alongside Mel Giedroyc. The duo went on to host Late Lunch and Light Lunch, write for French & Saunders and Absolutely Fabulous, and later became household names hosting The Great British Bake Off for seven series. Sue now presents Just A Minute on BBC Radio 4, and her latest show, Chess Masters, is available now on BBC iPlayer.
