The final Guiding Light episode opened with a montage of all the logos that the show has had over the years, and the announcer said, "This is the Guiding Light." Fletcher returns to town and whisks Alexandra away. Mindy decides to stay in Springfield. Daisy, Ashlee, and James leave for Berkely. Christina and Remy get married. Frank and Blake make a Tindr hookup. Maureen and Matt get back together. Michelle and Danny decided to stay in Springfield. One year later, Reva and Josh drove away from the lighthouse, and down a country road as lyrics to a song played, "We belong together..."
