Mel Harris Remembers Filming Daniel's Death (Clip)

Ask most Stargate fans and they will tell you they shed tears the first time they watched the end of "Meridian" -- especially those of us who saw it the first time in the days before actor Michael Shanks was ever considering a return. It was powerful television.

Mel Harris was on set as "Oma Desala," and as a Stargate fan herself she got a front-row seat. But through her process as an actor, she and her son Byron had a fairly different reaction compared to the rest of us.
