In this episode, I decide to ride 260 kilometers straight across the Hindu Kush in Afghanistan. I was hoping that the first part would still be paved, but the road immediately turns into an unpaved track and the day turns out to be filled with Taliban encounters that I was hoping to avoid on this route.
