The series, which has been running since 1981, was made famous by Peter Lustig, who hosted it until the end of 2005. Since then, Fritz Fuchs (Guido Hammesfahr) has lived with his dog ‘Keks’ in the blue construction trailer on the green meadow in Elchwinkel, where he discovers new and interesting things in and around his home town of Bärstadt in every episode.
