Everyone's going crazy about the "UFO" seen by millions of people in southern California, Mexico and Arizona. Well... fortunately (or unfortunately) it's not an unidentified flying object, since we KNOW what it is!

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Airforce Base at 5:27 pm local Pacific time. This was a reused Falcon 9 booster that launched 10 Iridium NEXT satellites for their customer Iridium.

Launch time was 17:27 PST on Friday December 22nd (1:27 UTC Saturday December 23rd)
