Welcome to Multi Level Mondays, a weekly series all about multi level marketing, pyramid schemes, and ponzi schemes.

Natura tries not to present itself as an MLM, considering the bad reputation these legal pyramid schemes have among the general public. (Deservedly so.) It’s funny though, because even though my sources say they try to distance themselves from that label, Natura & co owns Avon, one of the most well known, notorious MLMs out there. (And one that we’ve already discussed on this channel.) At the same time, they also own The Body Shop, which I know many of you didn’t know was an MLM, judging from some of the comments I received on that video.

All in all, Natura & Co owns Natura, Avon (acquired in 2020), The Body Shop, (acquired in 2017) and Aesop, which they fully acquired by 2016. Since I’ve already talked about Avon and the Body Shop, today we’ll focus on Natura and Aesop, to see if these MLMs are just as bad as their sibling scams.
