1993: Beth's runs into her ex-fiance, Booth Danforth. When Booth tries his old ways with Beth, she runs to Joe explaining the relationship. Joe confesses to her that he doesn't feel like he's on the same team with his law firm. When they are about to explain why they have been avoiding eachother, Gregory interupts and notices their vibe towards one another. Beth stands up to Booth and sleeps with Josh.

2001: Beth, Joe, and their son Tyler, take a weekend trip at their country home. Tyler has an asthma attack and Joe realizes he forgot to check Tyler's inhaler before they left. Tyler comes out of it fine and Joe realizes he hasn't been a good father lately. This brings Beth and Joe closer together. When Josh dates Gregory's friend, he suspects her of being a transvestite.

2008: When Athena is rehearsing for a Gay Alliance fund raiser Josh is hosting, Gregory discovers her using a drug called ""slag"". When Athena looks for more ""slag"" after Gregory flushes it down the toilet, G
