I'm making another kiridashi knife. This time I'm using water hardening spring steel. I'm not sure about which exact type of steel it is it is. As my other knives this one too is my original design.
The steel I used is 8 mm thick, which I tought was thick enough for such a small knife, so I didn't make a handle using scales but I carves this wave pattern on the surface of the knife to make it look awesome and also to give me better grin on the handle. It looks beautiful and feels comfortable in my hand.
I used some paracord to make a loop and some electrical heat shrink wrap to hide those ugly loose ends. Looks better than I expected.
