Rob Landes began his violin training at the age of 3, then earned two music degrees, and performed throughout Europe and at Carnegie Hall. But Rob wanted more than a strictly classical career and, instead, decided expand the boundaries of his instrument and transform his violin into an explosion of sound. He creates a blaze of layers with a loop pedal, bursts the sound barrier with amplifiers and distortion techniques, and improvises this stunning experience onstage for awe-struck audiences worldwide.

How to describe his sound? Take a helping of AC/DC, add a dollop of Ed Sheeran and Adele, and finish with a dash of Michael Jackson. Garnish with Imagine Dragons and serve it up on a plate of Broadway – and you have Rob’s sound. With the success of his “Hallelujah” cover video earning more than 6 million YouTube views, Rob has opened for T Pain, Rachel Platten, American Authors, Jason DeRulo, performed twice at New York Fashion Week, alongside Grammy-award winner Charlie Colin at the Sundance Film Festival and Newport Beach Film Festival, and toured Thailand. Today Rob Landes has signed with ARK Studios Media Group and is the 2016-17 National Next Big YouTuber Winner. Rob Landes is also preparing a solo music tour in the U.K. in 2017.
