The news station gets an exclusive on the Li family collecting Hsiao-Ming's body, exposing their hiding place. Ta-Chih storms back to confront Chiao-An, accusing her of being the root of media's decay. Mei-Mei decides to return to Wang She and support his ideals. Chao-Kuo takes Chiao-An back to the theater where their son died, forcing her to face buried regret. Ssu-Yueh prepares for her wedding while their father suffers a heart attack.
