The arrival of a drug trafficker and his sick girlfriend in the ED proves a welcome distraction for Jay, whose surgery is only hours away, while Mads mistakenly believes that Lenny has asked her out on a date. Miriam and Jordan's constant bickering forces Hanssen to admit there should only be one clinical lead, but his revelation that both doctors can apply for the position is an unwelcome one.
