Emo music was all the rage in the early-to-mid 2000s. The genre hosted many different sub-genres and ranged from sad, campfire-like tunes to raging, heavy rock riffs, so it’s no surprise it resonated with millions of people worldwide. But recently the platinum-selling band “Flyleaf” has been accused of homophobia, and their lead singer has been accused of promoting conversion therapy.
