Strawberries with Sugar

"Morangos com Açúcar" (Strawberries with Sugar) were the biggest youth series in Portugal. It was aired by the Portuguese television channel TVI, from August 30th 2003 to September 15th 2012, with a total of 9 seasons and more than 2 000 episodes made.

The stories of the main characters are settled during the school year and then sorted out during the Summer vacation. However, in each school year, and therefore in each season, the whole cast is changed, leaving season 7 and 9 the only ones that keep the whole cast throughout more than one season. The show approaches topics like drug use, violence, LGBT, and coming out of age issues in general.
