Thursday, three days before the presidential election. Vanja and Barbara, independently of each other, arrange a meeting with Tomasevic at his house. Mayer and Antunovic hire a killer to liquidate Prime Minister Lozancic. The newspaper came out with a front page with only two announcements. The first, the panel: "Vjekoslav Mayer and Dinko Antunovic blackmail seven corrupt judges by police investigation". Another, smaller one: "We discover the cover-up of Jelena Krsnik's violent outburst towards her own mother." Police arrest Mayer and Antunovic. Jolic listens to Antunovic who confesses to him where Jakovljevic was abducted ...
