Walter Hill
Walter Hill ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmregisseur, Drehbuchautor und Produzent, der für seine Actionfilme und die Wiederbelebung des Western-Genres bekannt ist. Er führte Regie bei Filmen wie „Driver“, „Die Warriors“, „Die letzten Amerikaner“, „Nur 48 Stunden“ und dessen Fortsetzung „Und wieder 48 Stunden“ und schrieb das Drehbuch für das Krimidrama „Getaway“. Er führte außerdem bei mehreren Episoden von Fernsehserien wie „Geschichten aus der Gruft“ und „Deadwood“ Regie und produzierte Filme der Alien-Reihe. Zusammen mit David Giler und Gordon Carroll gründete er Brandywine Productions.
Hill sagte in einem Interview: „Jeder meiner Filme war ein Western“.
