After the snow melts, the body of a woman is discovered. The victim is believed to have died more than 25 years ago. Alex and Leblanc begin the investigation and find a handwritten letter written by a friend of the young woman, Mathilde. After research, Alex discovers that this person is part of the police. Notified, she immediately took over the investigation and arrived in Lusagne. The two cops will try to tame each other and understand this drama of almost 30 years ago, when a young idealistic activist arrived in Lusagne, alongside other "eco-warriors"...
