Brigitte was not yet 15 when she posed for the cover of the brand new ELLE magazine. Very quickly spotted by the young Vadim, assistant to the director Marc Allégret, she obtained permission from her family to try out for a film. Her parents, wealthy bourgeois from Passy, do not believe in her future as an actress. However, thanks to this meeting with Vadim, fate gets carried away. Brigitte discovers cinema, but above all love, sexuality and freedom. She rebels against her strict and conventional upbringing, blossoms, discovers her femininity, her personality. She turns small roles and becomes a "starlet" in sight. After three years of lies and concealment, she finally has the right, at 18, to marry her great love.
