Markus is still considering selling his farm. Even Nina's return seems to have done little to change his mind. He also can't seem to connect with his daughter Mia. Then the mysterious disappearance of little Moritz distracts him from his problems. The boy ran away from his mother at a cable car station and may have wandered into a restricted forest area. As darkness falls, Moritz's mother's fear grows immeasurably, robbing her of almost all hope.
