Lola relates Lafont's story to Captain Jourdan. But apart from the journalist's word, she has no proof. The gendarme promises to do everything he can to find the culprit. The investigation into Manon's death has been reopened. Lola finds Clément and apologizes: she didn't want her father dead. Having read his diary, Clément understood that he had made a mistake in a relationship with Manon.
