What begins as a test of courage turns into a moment of horror for three children from a nearby holiday camp. They secretly enter the villa, which has been uninhabited for years. You want to convince yourself that it is really haunted. But instead of encountering ghosts, they witness the fight between Jakob Stocking and the building contractor Ingo Hauer, in which the latter is killed by a knife. When the alleged perpetrator Jakob Stocking, accompanied by the young lawyer Mia Burgstaller, returns to the scene to pose, Micha Oberländer and Hannah Zeiler's questions begin to pile up. Jakob Stocking claims not to have known the victim, but says that Hauer attacked him and that he acted out of pure self-defense.
