Unter Wölfen

Early in the morning, forestry worker Oliver Schlösser finds Hoppe's body, impaled by one of the stakes of his historic wolf trap. The innkeeper Melanie Bodenbach, in whose guesthouse Hoppe spent the night, claims to have known nothing about his forbidden hunt for the wolf. Melanie's son Timmy behaves strangely, as the detectives catch him running away with the dead man's laptop. Timmy's grandmother Ruth Lamprecht, owner of the forest where the murder took place, also puzzles the investigators. Although the wolf repeatedly tears lambs from her flock of sheep, she speaks out strictly against the shooting of the animal. The animal rights activist Pit Adams, who, like Ruth, campaigns for the protection of wolves and who, to Oberländer's discomfort, has taken a liking to his daughter Luna, of all people, also comes under suspicion. Everything seems to be connected with everyone, but who is wolf and who is just lamb?
