Le Sahara est le plus grand désert de la planète. Connu pour ses paysages de dunes à perte de vue qui ne reçoivent parfois pas la moindre goutte de pluie pendant plusieurs années, c’est l’exemple typique du milieu hostile : on peut y parcourir plusieurs milliers de kilomètres sans croiser la moindre trace de vie animale ou végétale. Et pourtant, le Sahara n’a pas toujours ressemblé à ça, il a même présenté pendant plusieurs millénaires un tout autre visage... un visage vert !
